Waterproof Flooring

Waterproof Flooring Options

Are you looking for a new floor for your home setting? Don’t let moisture prevent you from choosing something super-stylish. Visit Gordon’s Carpet One in El Centro to choose from our selection of waterproof flooring options. We have luxury vinyl flooring, tile, and even waterproof carpet!

Luxury Vinyl Flooring

Luxury vinyl flooring has become one of the more popular waterproof flooring options because it offers natural stone and wood looks. In fact, luxury vinyl plank flooring looks exactly like real hardwood! How is luxury vinyl flooring waterproof? Many luxury vinyl options, such as COREtec Plus, have strong waterproof cores that prevent the planks and tiles from ever expanding or contracting when exposed to moisture. Plus, these floors have strong top layers that will resist any spills. So, if you want to add the looks of wood or stone to your kitchen or bathroom, luxury vinyl flooring is a perfect choice.

We offer waterproof luxury vinyl flooring options such as COREtec Plus and Invincible H2O.

Tile

Tile is a time-tested waterproof flooring option, as it has been installed in bathrooms, kitchens, and basements for years. Also, tile can be installed on floors, walls, showers, baths, and backsplashes. Ceramic tile is a great choice for these types of settings because, although it is strong and water resistant, it offers tremendous design versatility. In areas with heavy moisture and foot traffic (such as outdoors and commercial settings), porcelain tile is a better choice.

Like luxury vinyl, tile is available in stone and wood looks.

As part of our tile selection, we offer styles from Daltile, MSI, Happy Floors, Mohawk, American Olean, and Bedrosians.

Carpet

While all carpets are certainly not considered waterproof, we do offer Tigressa H2O. Tigressa H2O, which is exclusive to Carpet One stores, is a waterproof carpet option. Tigressa H2O is considered waterproof because it has a rigid thermoplastic backing that repels moisture. Any spills will therefore not reach the subfloor. Nonetheless, Tigressa H2O does remain comfortable underfoot like real carpet.
